community manager (2020-): works in tandem with the director of culture to curate how it feels to work at Arts and Letters. partners with creative teams to produce agency events and parties, leads agency-level philanthropic initiatives, and creates employee programming/experiences. builds and maintains relationships with community partners nationwide and on a local level.

public projects:

5 in 45 (Sophia Chang, Roxane Gay, Ibra Ake): a virtual speaker series where we invite trail-blazing storytellers to answer 5 inspiring questions in 45 minutes.

the BLK MARKET: a community project created by for the culture, a collective of black employees at arts and letters creative co. together we created a market highlighting black businesses in the greater richmond community.

events chair (2023-2024) - planned and produced monthly events for the club and its members to connect, network, and build community. acted as event designer/producer for the 2023 richmond show.

programming manager (2019): developed and managed programming for the first “brand house” by lululemon. the lululemon re:pair lab was an experiential pop-up built to celebrate the 2019 new york city marathon. centered all programming around elevating the diverse voices within the nyc run community and beyond.

community manager (2016-2019): led, managed, and executed experiences, events, and PR strategies to increase brand awareness. worked alongside the sales team to create effective KPIs and action plans for community, visual merchandising, and sales that lived harmoniously to achieve the business’s goals.

founder of shaw. (2017-2019): an online smoke shop focused on elevating marginalized artisans in the cannabis industry. what started as a shop grew into a space for advocacy, activism, and kinship.
